Always something to learn

Things have been pretty quiet around here, which explains most of my life. Its okay though. I think I have accepted that my life will be a quiet and simple one and I'm okay with that. We have been helping my dad prune the trees and doing some housework. Its made me realize how much I actually enjoy working. Though it can get monotonous, and even sometimes hard, I enjoy being able to work hard and see what I have accomplished afterward.
If you haven't picked up the April Ensign I highly recommend it. If you only have time to read one article, I would really suggest the article The last week of the Saviors life. Or something to that effect. It made me realize how much there is to learn. Especially when it comes to the Gospel. Of course the most simple and plain truths are the most important. But also we can keep our mind expanding and learning new things. Things that increase our faith and testimony in the work, and also in our Savior. The similarities between His death and the Passover are interesting. Again you will have to read the article because I'm not always the best at presenting things I have read. The other article I suggest if you have time is What does the Atonement mean to you. I don't have the magazine in front of me but they are named something similar to that. It gives suggestions on how to make the Atonement more personal and meaningful to ourselves.
One quote that I liked from the Ensign was "Pray as though everything depended on God. Act as though everything depended on you." Prayer is sometimes a struggle for me. But the more I do it, the closer I feel to God and the more I come to believe of His love for me, and worry for me, and desire to bless me. Another thing that has helped me with prayer is to remember the scripture reminding us of who is convincing me that I don't need to pray.
Well, good sunny days are here again. :) For me I am moving to a happy place in my life. I feel as if I have come to peace with many things, but I know its because of the presence of the Spirit in my life. There are some good things happening for us right now, and I feel the guiding presence of my Heavenly Father, watching over us, protecting us and guiding our life. Its a very good feeling.
