When I think back on when we were dating, I sometimes wonder what would have happened if I had made a different choice and broke up with him, and I think of all the things in my life that would be different, and I just know I wouldn't make that choice. He is such an amazing man, I can't imagine my life without him. Just feeling so grateful for him today! Love you hunny!

Thankful today....
I'm having a hard time being thankful today. I am just having a bad time right now, with several different things. I'm trying so hard to rely on my Heavenly Father and His spirit to help me and guide me, but its just one of those days its hard to see the light through the darkness.
But anyways, I'm still grateful. First of all, I'm grateful for Good Days. Days like today remind me of how many really good days I have compared to the few bad ones interspersed. I am grateful for the days that my Savior takes my burdens off my shoulders, and I cannot feel them bringing me down, and weighing me down. He is good to me.
Second I'm grateful for Stormy Days. Sometimes when you are just having a bad day it feels good for the weather to be bad. Its like I told Nate today. "God is just showing in the storm, how I am feeling inside." I'm glad that we have diverse weather here, it makes things interesting and different.
And lastly I'm thankful for the Holy Ghost. I know I have probably said this in another post, but I had a really neat experience with this, this week. I love how it pricks your heart and reminds you of the sacrifices and love of our Savior. And that all the things in this world can just fade away, because in the Lord's mind, these are things that just happen to us. His love never changes. He will always be there, on the other side making the things happen that should, but in His timing. I'm grateful that the Holy Ghost reminds me of these things every so often, and realigns my focus on the right things.
Hopefully this wasn't to boring, lol. Sometimes I repeat myself, but today was a struggle to write this post at all. But I'm glad I did. I feel better already.
So what are YOU thankful for??

Another Thankful Thursday!!
These are coming so fast, its crazy lol. But here is my thankfuls for this week.
I'm grateful for the goodness of God. I feel He brings such beautiful, joyous, and happy things into my life. He is so merciful towards His children, and I'm grateful to have even this little knowledge of Him. That He loves me, and wants the best for me.
I'm thankful for the Book of Mormon. So many stories in there of such amazing faith. Hope for our souls, Faith in our Savior. The Book of Mormon is true, and is an amazing book. I feel so blessed to have it in my life, and I'm grateful for the sacrifice of all those who went before me, to bring it forth.
And lastly I'm thankful for the piano. I am so happy I have been able to teach my nieces the piano. Its recaptured my interest in it, and I'm so grateful I can sit down and play a song, and so many times it whispers things to my soul. It comforts me, and brings the spirit into my life.

Holidays are coming
As the holiday's near, it gets hard to accept the reality of my life sometimes. On the one hand I feel so blessed in my life by Heavenly Father, for all the wonderful things that He has given me. Then on the other hand, its hard to know that the thing I want the most, is not going to happen for me. I feel so lost some days, wondering what the purpose of my life is here. I feel no pull for things of this world, that money could buy me. At times all I can really do is cling to my faith that the Lord will bless us with things in the next life that we weren't given here. Some days are easier then others, but some days the emptiness can be so consuming. Especially when I start to worry about the future, about how we will have no one to pass our things on to, how we will have no help from children when we are old. But then again, I just have to pray for peace that things will work out the way they are supposed to. I wrote this poem at the beginning of this year, it really expresses some of my feelings.
Our Sweet Angel Baby
We started our journey
As husband and wife
A family for eternity
Through happiness and strife.
Four years later
Loving each other much
But our hearts and arms are empty
Wishing for a baby to touch.
When I look in his eyes
All that I can see
Is the daddy and father
I know he would be.
It breaks my heart
And I can hardly cope
To think I can't give him
His hearts cherished hope.
I wake in the night
Wipe the tears from my eyes
And listen in the silence
To my little baby's cries.
But your not yet with me
My little baby dear.
I still have to wait
Maybe months, maybe years.
I'll be waiting for you
My angel up above
Every second of my life
I'll be waiting for you to love.
For now your in Heaven
Hope my Mother's with you there
Holding you and loving you
While you are in her care.
Our sweet angel baby
We wish upon the stars,
Put our faith and trust in Father,
That one day you'll be ours.

I just love being an aunt!
I'm so grateful for the blessing of niece's and nephews in my life. I often wonder if I will leave any legacy behind since I will probably never have my own children. But today just reminded me that I do have an effect on some children, even if its small.
Nate got some snazzy looking shirts yesterday too. He has a really admirable goal in my opinion after listening to Elder Wirthlin's talk in General Conference. Something a long the lines of casual dress indicates casual attitude. So he has a goal to make his wardrobe more grown up and mature. I'm so proud of him. I really married a wonderful man.
Life is good and happy! We are just chugging along in our little tug boat! :D
PS What do you think of this picture??

Thankful Thursday!! :D
Today is my to name some things I am feeling grateful for this week.
First off is my cats. They keep me company and make me laugh. They help to fill a hole in my life, and give me something to love.
Next would be for my belief in God. I cannot imagine not having that belief, and how lonely it would seem. I'm grateful that I know He lives, and is my Heavenly Father. I am thankful that He loves me, and comforts me and blesses me.
And lastly I'm grateful for Holidays. I cannot remember any happier times in my life then when I am with my family. I love spending time with them, and reminiscing with them. I am glad we have traditions of getting together as family for the holidays at the end of the year.
What are YOU thankful for???

Halloween 2008!
We met some friends up at the Institute's dance. We were a bride and groom gettin' hitched in Las Vegas. It was a pretty fun night, minus the really bad music. But, we made it fun anyways. The highlight being our friend falling into a bush.....oh good times.

Nate is holding a little bucket of "chips". We didn't take it in to the dance though and I'm glad we didn't!
I have Bridal's for our friend (the one that fell in the bush earlier) tomorrow and I'm a little nervous with the weather. Cuz I can't shoot outside because of the camera and no way to protect it. So we are going to probably have to try to find places to shoot inside and I just don't know!

Then Tuesday is Election day. I hope everyone is voting!
Well, I will share a few of the bridal's that I take in the next few days, so cross your fingers for me! :D
