And its the truth! No exciting adventures to tell about, no funny children stories. I honestly wonder most the time, "why did I start this blog??" I guess more then anything just for myself. I would suppose most people's lives are that way. Small, and significant to them of course, but quiet.

Maybe its just the fast paced world that makes me feel like my life is slow and inconsequential. It seems sometimes that the world is spinning so very fast, while I am just standing absoleutly still. Sometimes I prefer it that way. But other times, I would like things to be a little different. Its not that things never happen to us, it just seems like when things do, there is a long period of nothing happening in between.
Anyways, I will be heading out to California a week from Saturday. I think it will be so much fun, and a nice vacation with one of my girls. :D Its always different hanging out with girls vs. boys. Lots of laughing, lots of chocolate. Yes it will be a fun trip.
Nate rolled his ankle the other day, and it was all swollen last night. I feel bad for him, of course being the manly man he is, he doesn't let me know how much pain he really is in. To bad for him I have intuition, so I knew anyways. :) Hopefully it gets better quickly.
I have been reading a lot lately, I just finished The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, and really enjoyed it. I have to say that C.S. Lewis was an inspired writer. I am about 1/3 through Prince Caspian and all ready can tell this will be one of my favorite series. I also have read pieces of his A Grief Observed which was written when his wife passed away, and he just had such a way of writing that made you feel like he was talking to directly to you, and telling you a really intriguing story.
Other then that not much else is going on in our life! Same old stuff. Thanks for reading. :D
