One Year came and went!

Sorry I have been so behind with blogging. It's just been a crazy month trying to get Landon's Birthday party worked out, dr's appointments, WIC appointments, then last week we ALL got sick at the same time! It was pretty awful!
Anyhow, Landon's party was GREAT! We had lots of fun with family and Landon loved all the attention. The decorations didn't come off exactly as I had hoped, but that is okay! The memories and fun are what's important.
Life is pretty mundane right now. Just adjusting to Nate being back at work, and dealing with the cold temps that keep us indoors pretty much all the time. I will be getting out of here as often as possible once it gets warm. Even just to go on a walk! That sounds so nice most days but there is just no way until it warms up!
Landon is not a baby anymore! He isn't totally walking yet so he isn't a full blown "toddler" yet but he acts like a toddler! Here are some things he has been up to.
*He does take a few steps on his own throughout the day, but no walking totally yet. He still prefers crawling.
*He is a chatter box still! His sounds are changing though and you can tell learning to talk is being worked on in his brain.
*He still loves music and shakes his little booty whenever we have music going. It's just so cute and never gets old!
*He loves attention, especially from girls. He is such a flirt! Hehehe.
*He is turning into a Mommy's boy. He reaches for me a lot more then he has in the past. Most of the time I love it. Sometimes I just want a break!
*He still loves books. He will now bring me books and whine for me to read them to him. He brings me The Ear Book most of the time. When I read "we hear feet tap" he sticks his foot up for me to tap it. It is so cute!
*He has figured out how to put stuff away just by watching us. He puts away his toys and blocks when we start doing it. I love it!
*He loves to throw stuff. He throws stuff around the room, he throws stuff over his gate, out of his crib, into the tub. He is a typical boy!
*He has recently been trying HARD to say Quack. He is really close!
*He knows where his ears are. If you ask him where his ear is, he flicks them. He also knows who Mama and Dada are, although he doesn't call us those yet.
*He is a sleep talker! The last few days he mumbles in his sleep the whole time! Mostly dadadada.
*He LOVES the cats, especially Angel. He chases her around and when she is nearby but he can't reach her he will just laugh and laugh. It's funny!
That is all I can think of for now! He is still the best thing ever! Still love being his mommy, and can't believe that a year has passed. I did cry shortly before his birthday. Just cannot believe how so short of a time kids are little. They grow SO fast!
I really hope I can get blogging on here more! Even if it's not terribly interesting to anyone else. Its the best way for me to make note of stuff that happens though! Anyway! Happy Birthday to our little Cubby!!!
